One person dead after a car crash in Kanawha County

A Kanawha County Dispatcher said one person is dead after a two vehicle crash in Sissonville. The dispatcher adds it was a head-on collision. No word on what caused the crash. Rocky Fork Road is shutdown for the investigation.

One driver has died and two others were taken to the hospital Monday evening after a head-on collision. Metro 911 says it happened around 7:30 p.m. near Colindale Circle and Rocky Fork Road in Sissonville.

James William Mundy, 53, of South Charleston died from his injuries in the accident that happened along Rocky Fork Road at about 7:30 p.m., according to a news release from the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office.
