Man charged in connection with fatal wrong-way crash in Kenosha County

A Milwaukee man has been formally charged in connection with a deadly wrong-way crash that occurred on Sunday morning, September 21st in Kenosha County.

A wrong-way driver had been pulled over by a state trooper before fleeing still heading southbound in the northbound lanes of I-94, near Highway 142, in Kenosha, Wisconsin and crashing head-on into a truck heading in the right direction. The driver of the truck struck by the fleeing driver died, and its passenger suffered serious injuries. The driver of the fleeing truck sustained injuries deemed life-threatening, and another passenger escaped with less serious injuries.
