Motorcycle-deer crash in Poygan kills passenger
At about 2:10 p.m. Sunday, a motorcycle carrying two people and traveling east on County Trunk D hit a deer in the road and crashed about 1/10 of a mile east of County Trunk B, Winnebago County Sheriff's Lt. Steve Brewer said. An ambulance transported the driver of the vehicle to Theda Clark Medical Center for treatment of moderate but non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities pronounced the passenger dead at the scene.
Motorcyclist who died in Poygan deer crash identified
Connie L. Brick, 56, of Kaukauna, died Sept. 7 when the motorcycle she was a passenger on struck a deer on County Trunk D, near County Trunk B, in the town of Poygan.
A passenger on a motorcycle has died and the motorcycle driver suffered injuries that aren't life threatening when the bike crashed into the deer on a county highway in Poygan Sunday afternoon. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Neither person was wearing a helmet.
