The Kaukauna Police Department believes alcohol was a factor in a crash that killed one person and injured another this morning.

A Kaukauna police officer came upon the crash on the 800 block of Hyland Avenue and County OO at about 1:30 a.m.
Driver Arrested After Fatal Crash in Kaukauna
The passenger in the vehicle who has been identified as Heidi J. Jetty, 44, was taken to Theda Clark Hospital. She later died as a result of her injuries.
1 Arrested in Connection to Fatal Kaukauna Crash
Police believe the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated at the time of the crash. He was taken to the hospital for his injuries and later booked into the Outagamie County Jail. The crash is still under investigation.
