The Dane County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 26-year-old man who fled the scene of a fatal single-car crash in the town of Albion.

The Dane County Sheriff's Department Saturday night was searching for the occupant of a car who fled on foot after the vehicle rolled over, killing another occupant who was thrown out of the vehicle Saturday about 5:30 p.m.

The Dane County Sheriff's Department Saturday night was searching for the occupant of a car who fled on foot after the vehicle rolled over, killing another occupant who was thrown out of the vehicle Saturday about 5:30 p.m.
That person died at the scene. The other individual fled though a field.
The crash took place in the Town of Albion and involved a single vehicle traveling at an extremely high rate of speed, the Sheriff's Department said.
The accident happened on Hillside Road near County Highway A.
