A crash between a van and a semi truck on Highway 14 in Rutland Tuesday morning killed one driver and injured another, according to a release from the Dane County Sheriff's office.

The van crossed the centerline while driving north on Highway 14 near Highway 92, hitting the semi truck head on at 10:45 a.m. The 27-year-old driver of the van was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the semi, Phillip Parker, 33, of Baraboo, was taken to a hospital for minor injuries.
The identity of the driver who was killed hasn't yet been released.
