A 28-year-old Clearfield woman died Monday while riding a motorcycle near Snowbasin when she lost control of the machine. The woman had been riding north with a group of other motorcyclists on Trapper's Loop Road between Morgan and Weber counties when she fell behind the other riders, Weber County Sheriff's Sgt. Lane Findlay said. Witnesses reported she was traveling at a high rate of speed as she attempted to catch up to the others. "She lost control on the corner and crashed," Findlay said.

Clearfield woman killed in motorcycle crash identified

Jennifer Anderson, from Clearfield, was riding her bullet bike when she lost control rounding a corner on Trapper's Loop, police said.
Despite wearing a helmet and protective jacket, the woman was traveling at too high of speeds to maintain control on the mountainous terrain.
