Three women injured and one horse killed after car strikes concrete barrier and truck with horse-trailer in Orem, UT

About 11 a.m., three women were driving south on I-15 when their small passenger vehicle lost control and veered into the median, striking the concrete barrier. The vehicle then bounced back into traffic, where it was struck on the passenger side by a pickup truck pulling a horse trailer, according to Utah Highway Patrol trooper Evan Kirby.
The three women were taken to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, and one of them had serious injuries. Three horses were injured, though two sustained minor injuries while one had to be euthanized. Four people in the truck sustained very minor injuries from air bags.

The driver is my best friend. I had just seen her and her roomates the day before. So terrified for her and her roomates. I hope they are all going to be ok.
