According to an officer, a loud boom was heard in the area of Deerfield Valley Road in Deerfield and black smoke can currently be seen there. Sheriff's deputies and emergency crews are currently in the Deerfield area responding to these reports.

A 30-year-old woman has died after a two-vehicle accident on the Eastern Shore on Wednesday.
Police say calls came in at 4:47 p.m. about the accident.
This happened in the 10300 block of Temperanceville Road. Police say a 2001 Hyundai Accent was going westbound on Temperanceville Road. They say the driver of the vehicle failed to yield and drove into the path of a 2001 Dodge Durango which was going northbound on Route 13.
The driver of the Hyundai died at the scene. She’s been identified as Catilina Perez Mejia of Nelsonia, Virginia.
A Suffolk man was killed when he crashed a pick up truck on Turlington Road Sunday morning.
According to a police spokesman, around 9:02 a.m. 37-year-old Gerald Parker of Suffolk was driving a Nissan pick up truck in the 600 block of Turlington Road when the truck left the roadway and rolled over. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Investigators closed Turlington Road to investigate the crash and are detouring traffic to Jackson Road. The road is expected to be closed for several hours.
A 1998 Subaru Legacy was heading south on Route 9 in Loudoun County around 5 p.m. less than a mile north of Route 571 when it crossed over the center line and hit a northbound 2006 Chevrolet Impala head-on, according to Virginia State Police.
The driver of Subaru died at the scene, police said. The victim has been identified as Shani E. Hickman, 43, of Leesburg, Virginia.
The driver of the Impala was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
A Bedford man died after a car crash Monday afternoon.
According to the Virginia State Police, 75-year-old Michael Keen Haynes was driving southbound on U.S. 221 when he suffered a medical emergency, causing his 1998 Dodge Durango to cross the center line. The truck ran off the left side of the road and struck a guard rail. The vehicle then rolled through a residential yard before coming to a stop up against a tree.
The crash happened at about 3:40 p.m. on Virginia 122, just south of Virginia 746 in Bedford County.
