Three injured in a two-vehicle head-on collision at Route 12 and Russell Avenue in Lake County, Illinois

The driver of a Mitsubishi Outlander sustained critical injuries, consisting of a fractured spine and brain bleeding. The driver of the Ford Mustang also sustained serious injuries. A front-seat passenger in the Ford, a 23-year-old man who was not wearing his seat belt, sustained significant injuries, including a symptom of not being able to feel his legs.
