On Sunday evening, Terry Killings Jr., 28, of Wildwood, was driving an ATV on County Road 235 northwest of Wildwood when he swerved to avoid hitting a child who ran into a Sumter County road. He then struck two people standing on the side of the road, killing Jakhyrian Graham, 2, of Wildwood, and seriously  injuring Johnny L. Williams, 56, of Leesburg. The toddler was transported to UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, where he died. Williams was taken to Ocala Regional Medical Center. Killings Jr. was ejected from the ATV and was taken to the Ocala hospital with serious injuries.

Ashlyn Turner, 18, 22 weeks pregnant, was killed in an ATV accident with her sister over the weekend. Turner was driving an ATV on Saturday when she was struck by second ATV on Wrangler Trail in Sumter County. Turner, along with her sister Samantha Turner, 16, were transported to the Richland Memorial Hospital in critical condition, and Ashlyn and her baby died Sunday. Samantha, who was 34 weeks pregnant, underwent an emergency C-section. Their current condition is not reported at the time of this report.

On January 27 at around 5:00 p.m., a crash at Gulf Dale Circle involving a Honda Rancher 420 all-terrain vehicle killed the driver, Sherrod Antonio Barnes, 29, of Mobile, who lost control of the ATV which left the road and collided with a fence. Barnes was taken to University of South Alabama Medical Center where he died. It was determined that he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

An ATV crash killed the passenger and critically injured the driver at Keystone Lake in Pawnee County on Saturday at around 5:30 p.m. at Keystone Lake. Ty Daniel Gant, 29, of Sand Springs was driving a Yamaha ATV and lost control of the vehicle while driving on Monkey Island. He and his passenger were ejected from the vehicle. Denise Ashley Zawaski, 27, of Sand Springs, died of head injuries. Gant was transported to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition. It is not yet reported if they were wearing helmets.

A fatal ATV accident occured around 5:37 p.m., and involved two people from Sand Springs. Oklahoma Highway Patrol say the driver lost control of his ATV at Motorcycle Island.  Moments later, both he and his female passenger became separated from the vehicle. The passenger, Denise Zawaski, was declared dead at the scene. The driver, Ty Gant, was sent to a Tulsa area hospital. Neither of the riders were wairing helmets. A fatal ATV crash happened Wednesday evening  just after 7 p.m., that killed Jeremiah T. Busam, 40, of Goshen. Busam was driving a 2007 Polaris Sportsman 800 Quad runner north on Shiloh Road when he exited the side of the road and crashed into a mailbox. Busam was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the crash site.

Troy Barnes II of North Las Vegas died when his ATV fell 12 feet into a drainage ditch about 4:20 p.m. when he crashed while making a turn onto Sergeant Jordan Avenue from Goldfield Street. Barnes was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

A man driving an ATV with two small girls as passengers, died Saturday when he hit a curb and rolled the vehicle. John Compton, 29, of Quinsey Drive in Bridgeport, died at St. Vincent's Hospital, soon after the 6 p.m. crash on Turkey Roost Road. A 2 year-old and a 6 year-old girl were thrown from the vehicle after the accident but did not sustain serious injuries. The two girls were brought to local hospitals, were treated for their injuries and released to their parents.

A Waterford man was killed Christmas Day in an ATV crash in Halfmoon, New York. Vladimir Sandul , 44, died when the ATV he was driving on private property near Brookwood Road rolled over into a gravel pit. He was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at a local hospital. No further details are available at the time of this report.

Dakota Jay Yoder was riding a 4-wheeler on private property when the vehicle flipped on top of him. He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries the next day.
