Police in Grandview are investigating a fatal crash that happened early Monday morning. Officers say a person was struck and killed while trying to walk across the highway. It happened on southbound Interstate 49 near Main Street around 9 p.m. Authorities said the motorist called after he hit the victim. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police later identified the victim as Terry Douglas, 53, or Grandview. No charges have been filed against the motorist.
