Authorities say a family from Argyle were killed when their vehicle collided head-on with another while they were traveling in New Mexico. New Mexico State Police say the crash occurred Friday around 9 p.m. on US 550, about 20 miles south of Bloomfield. According to investigators, 24-year-old Brian Lee became fatigued while driving northbound and crossed the center line. They say his Ford truck crashed into a van heading southbound.

One woman is dead and an adult and five children are injured after a head-on crash in Davidson County Friday morning. The wreck happened just before 8 a.m. near 3179 Cunningham Road near Thomasville. Troopers say the Ford Explorer was traveling north on Cunningham Road when it crossed the center line and hit another vehicle head on. The rainy weather and the Ford Explorer’s balding tires likely contributed to the accident.

A man driving a dump truck is killed after losing control on State Road 56 near French Lick. Troopers say 28-year-old Gared Allen was heading east on S.R. 56, when he drove off the edge of French Lick Hill, overturned, and hit a tree. Authorities say Allen wasn't wearing a seat belt and died at the scene. S.R. 56 was closed for nearly five hours.

The 33-year-old woman who was killed in a crash Sunday morning has been identified as Shannon Lee Pool from Las Vegas, according to the Clark County Coroner's office. The crash occurred shortly before 3 a.m. near Mountain Vista Street and Russell Road.

A Louisville man was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Russell Springs, Kentucky Sunday. Kenneth Bell, 54, a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. It happened around 5 p.m. July 13 on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway near Russell Springs, Kentucky. That's where police say 55-year-old Dana Bell of Louisville was driving when her car dropped off the side of the road. She then overcorrected and lost control.

Investigators said speed was a factor in the crash, and estimate the car was going between 76 and 82 miles per hour. Toxicology reports showed the driver, Jaylynn Rigio, was high on marijuana. Rigio had just gotten his driver's license, and OHP said he should never have had four people in the car with him. Nobody was wearing a seat belt.

Police are investigating the death of a woman from Cahokia after she crashed her vehicle Saturday afternoon. Authorities say Brittany Allred, 25, was driving northbound on North Liberty Road in Jarvis Township near Troy, Illinois when her Ford Explorer veered off the road and hit an embankment, causing the vehicle to roll over multiple times. Police have not determined how Allred lost control of her vehicle, but they do say she was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. She suffered blunt force trauma to her head, chest, and abdomen.

A 26-year-old Willow woman died in a rollover crash on the Parks Highway early Saturday morning, Alaska State Troopers said. About 1:49 a.m., multiple people called troopers to report the crash, which occurred near mile 195 of the highway. A Cantwell-based trooper responded and found the driver and only occupant of the vehicle, who was identified as Brittany Hyatt of Willow, unresponsive.

A woman being transported to a hospital in an ambulance that was T-boned by a car Friday has died. The Bexar County Medical Examiner confirmed Saturday that Jessie Lucear, 72, died shortly after the crash, which happened just before 11 a.m. on North Loop 1604 West and Shaenfield Road. It was unclear exactly what role the collision played in Lucear's death, if any. The ambulance was making a left turn at a green traffic light onto Shaenfield Road from Loop 1604.
