David Moore Jr., 19, and Timothy Randall, 30, killed while changing flat tire on Interstate 70 near Parachute, Colorado

Two men were killed while changing a tire Wednesday morning at mile marker 72 on westbound Interstate 70 in Garfield County near Parachute. A 2002 Ford F250 pick-up pulling a cattle hauler was on the right shoulder of the highway due to a flat tire. Another vehicle with David Moore Jr.,19, of Clifton and Timothy Randall, 30, of Grand Junction stopped to assist, and the men were on the left side of the trailer changing the tire when they were struck by a box truck. Both men died at the scene of the crash. The truck driver, Derek Thompson, 30, of Grand Junction was not hurt.

Pedestrian Wendy Snelling, 44, was hit and killed by an 18-wheeler near the 55-mile marker on Interstate 10 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi

A pedestrian died Friday morning after being hit by an 18-wheeler on I-10 near the 55-mile mark. The accident occured around 8:53 a.m. on Friday, October 17 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. The identities of the driver and the victim have not yet been released. Police are investigating why the pedestrian was on the highway.
