Saturday, June 6, 2015An accident soon after 9:16 a.m. of a crash near the intersection of 40th and Adeline streets involved a 60-year-old woman who was driving a 2014 Hyundai west on 40th Street when the car veered into an apartment building. The woman died at the scene due to the extent of her injuries. No one else was hurt.

Monday, March 16, 2015Authorities are looking for a hit-and-run driver who injured two adults and three children in a fiery two-vehicle collision in Oakland. An infant, 8-year-old child and 10-year-old child, who were all transported to UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, were in stable condition Tuesday. The Monday night collision happened at the intersection of 68th Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard. The two adults, Oakland residents, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were also in stable condition Tuesday. The crash occurred after a Oldsmobile sedan was broadsided at a high rate of speed.
