A woman and a 2-year-old child were killed in a crash on Interstate 75 late Thursday night.

Investigators with the Cincinnati Police Department say 30-year-old Kerteris Glover ran off I-75 at Ezzard Charles Drive just after 10 p.m. Thursday.

Officers say her car hit a guardrail and an overpass pillar.

Glover died at the scene.

A 2-year-old passenger was taken to Children's Hospital, where she died. Her name has not yet been released.

A 5-year-old girl was seriously injured in the crash. She is at Children's Hospital Friday morning.

Four people were hurt, one critically, in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 75. Cincinnati police said Andrea Collett, 48, was driving north in the southbound lanes near Second Street at about 10: 15 p.m. Thursday when her sport utility vehicle hit a southbound car. Collett suffered critical injuries and was taken to UC Medical Center for treatment. Her current condition has not been released. Three people in the other car were injured, one seriously. The crash remains under investigation.

Police said Jason Woodyard was speeding Sept. 29 when he lost control of his rig in the northbound lanes on Interstate 75 and caused the death of 22-year-old Zachary Byrd.

Woodyard couldn't stop and hit two vehicles that were stopped near Mitchell Avenue after a minor crash, police said.

Byrd was a passenger in one of the stopped vehicles. He died from injuries at the scene.

Two other motorists were critically injured.
