The twin sister of a Tarrant woman killed Sunday in a hit-and-run accident in Birmingham is asking that the woman who struck her sister early Sunday turn herself in. Anita Pickett, a 31-year-old home health caregiver, was on her way to work when her vehicle was struck by another vehicle about 6:25 a.m. on Interstate 59. Her vehicle fell from the interstate overpass near the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center to the roadway below, said Bill Yates, a Jefferson County deputy coroner.
