Dallas-Ft. Worth, TXTwo people have been killed after their motorcycle collided with a vehicle that pulled in front of it on New Years day.
Garland police say 54-year-old Ronald Hawley and his wife, 60-year-old Deborah Hawley, died Thursday at a hospital from injuries suffered the day before. Police say the Hawleys, who lived in Garland, were not wearing helmets when they were thrown into the roadway.

Minneapolis-St. Paul, MNMinnesota Vikings Linebacker Erin Henderson has been arrested on suspicion of DWI, according to the Carver County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota Vikings.
Deputies received a report of a black SUV speeding and "driving all over the road" on Wednesday. Shortly after the call deputies received additional information of a single-vehicle crash at the Park and Ride near the intersection of Highway 101 and County Road 61 in Chanhassen.

Buffalo, NYPolice in the Town of Hamburg are investigating a deadly car accident early Wednesday morning.
Police say around 4:55 a.m. a vehicle was traveling east on Lakeshore Road when it went off the roadway. The car hit a tree and rolled over onto it's roof.
The driver, 58-year-old Robert Voelker, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are continuing their investigation. They say alcohol doesn't appear to be a factor.

Honolulu, HITwo people were taken to the hospital after a traffic crash Wednesday afternoon, according to Kauai police.
The incident happened at about 2:40 p.m. on Kuhio Highway near the Hokualele Road junction in Anahola.
Police say a motorcycle was heading south on the highway when it rear-ended a Nissan sedan traveling in front of it.
The operator of the motorcycle, a 51-year-old man, and his passenger, a 41-year-old woman, were transported to Wilcox Hospital with serious injuries.
According to police, the male and female occupants in the sedan were not injured.

Memphis, TNAn off-duty Memphis Police officer was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 55, just before 11 Wednesday night.
Off-duty MPD officer, Johnathan Jones, 39, was in a white, late-model Chevy Silverado that somehow ended up wrapped around a pole on Interstate 55, north of Brooks Road.
According to authorities, he was sent to the MED in critical condition and died at the hospital Thursday morning.

Birmingham, ALA man accused of murder in a fatal crash this morning in Tuscaloosa is now in custody.
The crash happened about 3 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of McFarland Boulevard and 15th Street. Two people were killed and four others injured.
Investigators with the Tuscaloosa Metro Homicide Unit discovered KiAnthony Davis ran a red light at the intersection and hit the victim’s vehicle.
Davis has been charged with two counts of murder.

Portland, ORAn Oregon City man was cited for DUI New Year’s morning after he crashed into a tree and hid in a rest stop bathroom with serious injuries, police said.
At 7:18 a.m., police got several reports of a suspicious person who was injured at the French Prairie Rest Area near milepost 282, said the Oregon State Police.
A responding state trooper then found 22-year-old Chael Jakob Lynch inside the rest area bathroom and called paramedics. They took Lynch to Oregon Health & Science University with serious injuries that were not life threatening, Hastings said.

Houston, TXPolice are investigating a fatal traffic accident from early New Year’s Day in west Houston.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 6200 block of Westheimer.
Police said a minivan was driving on Westheimer when a 43-year-old victim attempted to cross the street and was hit.
Officials said the victim did not use the crosswalk and died at the scene.
The driver of the minivan stayed at the scene and was questioned by police.
Police do not believe alcohol played a role in the crash.
Names of those involved were not immediately released.

Milwaukee, WIA 19-year-old Wisconsin man is dead after a single-vehicle crash on New Year’s Day.
The St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 1600 block of Highway A in Richmond, Wis., around 5:18 a.m. Wednesday.
Officials say 19-year-old Taylor Casey of Hudson was driving southbound on the highway when he lost control of the Mercedes Benz SUV and went into a ditch, rolling the vehicle.
Casey was partially ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene. The sheriff’s office says he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt at the time.
His passenger, 19-year-old Antonio Bloomquist of Hudson, was not injured.
