A single-vehicle car accident resulted in the death of a Colorado woman. Cody Seldon, 22, of Michigan was driving east on I-80 near Sunol, Nebraska Saturday morning when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll. His passenger, 20-year-old Emily Barnes of Craig, Colorado, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car. She died at the crash site.

William Osthoff of Moscow Mills died when the vehicle he was driving hit a tree at Kamp Road near Brevator Road just before 9:00 p.m. Osthoff was brought to a Lincoln County hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Zachary Redden, 28, was pronounced deceased after a collision at 64th and Maple Streets in Benson Wednesday around 6:30 p.m., police say Redden was driving east in his Saturn sedan when he crossed the center line and hit a Jeep Liberty SUV. Redden was transported to the Nebraska Medical Center in critical condition, but he died from his injuries. 22-year-old Zachary Dunn and 22-year-old Austen Nielsen were in the other vehicle and suffered minor injuries. They were transported to Immanuel Hospital for treatment. Police say no one involved in the crash was wearing a seatbelt.

An all-terrain-vehicle accident killed one woman in Laurel, Nebraska on Friday, November 7. Sharon Bose, 67, was driving one ATV and Herbert Bose, 68, was driving another when the two vehicles collided. Sharon was fatally injured when the ATV she was driving rolled on top of her. She died from her injuries at a local hospital.

The Seward County Sheriff's Office has released the name of a Lincoln woman killed in a car accident near Milford Sunday morning. A 1994 Mazda pickup driven by Kimberly Hawthorne, 45 of Lincoln, crossed the center line on U.S. 6, and crashed head-on with a minivan driven by Antoinette Hruby, 30 of Pleasant Dale. Hawthorne was pronounced dead at the scene. A medical helicopter flew Hruby to Bryan West Campus, where she was listed in critical condition Monday night.

Chase Millard, 21, of Hubbard, killed in car accident on 1st Avenue in Emerson, NE, when the driver lost control and rolled the vehicle Millard was a passenger in.  Seatbelts were not in use.

Investigators have determined that just before 8:30pm, a car registered to Pendley lost control, struck a ditch, and rolled over. Between search efforts from the first responders to the accident, helicopters, and authorities searching Pendley's property, he has yet to be found. A local sheriff apparently received a call from someone claiming that Pendley had wanted to harm himself.

After failing to negotiate the curve in the roadway, the driver of a 2001 Chevy Blazer rolled their vehicle and landed in the grassy median. The vehicle rolled at least once, and the driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected. The incident occured on southbound Highway 75 by 30th street just after 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, October 14 in Omaha, Nebraska. The driver of the Blazer was taken to UNMC with injuries there were not life-threatening. A passenger in the vehicle was also taken to the hospital. Police believe alcohol to be a cause of the crash.

A school bus carrying 13 children was hit by a truck Monday afternoon at 42nd and Grover streets. Two students were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The other students were transferred to another bus to be taken home. The driver of the truck allegedly ran a red light and struck the bus. The truck driver was cited by police.

Joseph R.Carman, 54, of Plattsmouth, was injured in a car accident on Highway 1 east of 156th St, near Plattsmouth, NE, after being ejected from a Ford pickup truck.  The truck left the road entering the ditch and then returned to the highway before crossing the center line nearly crashing into oncoming vehicles before swerving back into the ditch and rolling twice ejecting Carman who was flown by Lifenet to University of Nebraska Medical Center for serious injuries.  No selt belt and alcohol are thought to be contributing factors.
