At around 1:00pm, Blevins was traveling southbound on State Highway 76 when she lost control, likely due to the snow and slush on the roadway, and rolled over off of the road, leaving her dead at the scene.

A Pawnee man was critically injured in an accident early Christmas morning. Russell Hazlip, 24, of Pawnee, was heading east on State Highway 15 when his vehicle left the road to the left. Hazlip then over-corrected and exited the road to the right, hitting a fence. The vehicle rolled several times, and Hazlip was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to a Tulsa hospital by Air-Evac where he is being treated for serious injuries.

At around 12:30, a car driven by Harkins, who was allegedly DUI, collided with a train near S Meridian Avenue. The crash left Rissler, a passenger in Harkins' car, partially ejected and dead at the scene, while Harkins himself sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital under police guard.

Richard D. Beattie, 82, from Locust Grove, was killed in a car crash near Chouteau in Mayes County. The two-vehicle collision happened around 2:00 p.m. Friday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 412 and 412B, when Jimmie Ray Hobbs, from Vilonia, Arkansas, failed to yield at the stop sign on southbound 412B. Beattie was pinned in his wrecked vehicle for about 30 minutes before being extricated by Chouteau firefighters. He was pronounced deceased at a Tulsa hospital. Jimmie Ray Hobbs was admitted to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition.

Lopez was on his way home from a store when he was fatally struck by a vehicle at S Portland Avenue and SW 39. The driver did not stop to render aid or contact emergency services, and is now wanted by local police who are asking witnesses for any information they can give.

At about 3:45 p.m., Dorothy Sanders, 66, of El Reno, was driving west on the H.E. Bailey Turnpike when the car exited the highway and rolled. Dorothy Sanders and her passenger Robert Sanders, 74, of El Reno, were thrown from the car. Neither person was wearing a seat belt. Dorothy Sanders died at the crash site, and Robert Sanders was transported to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he is listed in fair condition.

At about 7:44am, Howard was driving on U.S. 64 when she attempted to change lanes, but instead lost control of the vehicle and crossed into the opposite lanes, striking a semi-truck in the process. A piece of debris from the crash then struck another vehicle that was behind Howard, though the driver of that vehicle was uninjured. Howard sustained critical injuries in the crash, and Vandusseldorp was injured but is now in good condition.

Marinan Reeves and an Oklahoma City patrol car collided at N.W. 150th Street between Pennsylvania Avenue and May Avenue on Friday night. Reeves later died at the hospital.   The Oklahoma City Police Department released a statement that its thoughts and prayers are with her family. The officer driving the patrol car has been placed on medical leave.

Mary Fox was driving on US Highway 177 when she experienced a medical problem and drove off the road, striking a tree and a concrete culvert. She was wearing her seat belt but her airbags did not deploy. She passed away on Dec. 17th of her injuries.

Loretta Jean Browning of Copan was struck and killed by an RV driven by her husband of 62 years, Edward E. Browning, on the University of Oklahoma’s Norman campus on Friday evening in a parking lot near Jenkins Avenue and Brooks Street.
