A teen driver died in a single-vehicle accident Saturday night on on Plattner Pike in southwest of New Knoxville. Shelby Fear, 19, of New Bremen, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His passenger, 18-year-old Tristan Hoffmaster, also of New Bremen, suffered minor injuries and was transported to the Joint Township Hospital in Saint Marys. Fear was not wearing a seat belt while driving a 2008 Dodge Stratus. The vehicle went off the right side of the road, crashed into several trees, and landed upside down.

A 17-year-old Jackson resident, Lucas W. Gromowski, died in a single-vehicle rollover accident Saturday evening. The rollover crash happened at the intersection of county roads A and E in the town of Beaver Dam. A 17-year-old, Aaron M. Mindel, from West Bend was the driver of a 2008 Honda east on County Road E when he failed to negotiate the S curve at the intersection with County Road A. The vehicle traveled into the south gravel shoulder of County Road E, went airborne, landed in the northbound lane of County Road A and rolled over.

Two St. Helens women killed Friday in a three-car pileup just east of Albany have been identified as Elizabeth M. Maye and Amanda J. Maye-Strawn. They were driving east on Highway 20 near Milepost 2 when Maye's 2013 Nissan Versa slowed down to make a left turn onto Goldfish Farm Road. The Nissan was struck from behind by a 1998 Dodge pickup driven by Isaiah Z. Kaneaster, 18, of Scio, and then struck head-on by a westbound 2003 Honda Odyssey. Maye, 45, and Maye-Strawn, 42, were pronounced dead at the scene. It is not confirmed at this point whether the women are related.

Donshey James was driving a stolen Pontiac Aztec when he crashed near the intersection of East 38th Street and North Sherman Drive while avoiding police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jordan Kuperus, 18, was driving south on 80th Avenue when he failed to stop at a stop sign at State Road and drove in front of a car operated by Roger Holman, 70. When the cars collided, the force of the collision caused Kuperus' seat belt to tear and we was ejected from the vehicle. Kuperus was treated for serious injures, while Holman was uninjured.

A sedan crashed upside down into a brook that runs underneath Hall Road, with at least one person inside. That person, identified as Fairweather, was removed and taken to a local hospital, where he later died.. Dive teams searched the scene of the crash for more people that might have been involved, and the results of their search have not yet been shared.

Tanner Justin Gonsalez was driving on County Road U-Southeast when icy conditions caused him to lose control and crash. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the truck. He reportedly died at the scene. More info will be posted as it is released.

Kaleb Hakeem Fletcher, 21, of Mount Olive, died Monday night in a multi-car crash on Interstate 459 in Bessemer. Fletcher was going to Tuscaloosa when the crash occurred. Fletcher was the driver and only occupant of a 2006 Honda Civic traveling southbound on I-459 when his vehicle left the road, crossed the median into the opposite lanes, and was then hit by a Ford F-1 pickup truck and a Buick Century. The impact of the collisions split Fletchers car in half, and he was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead on the scene at 7:40 p.m.

One woman was killed and two other people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash that happened around 1:15 a.m. Sunday along Pulaski Highway near Brookmont Drive, south of Newark. The driver of a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder was speeding and failed to stop for a red light, and struck a 2013 Nissan Altima. The passenger of the Nissan Altima, 22-year-old Alexis DeFrancesco, was transported to Christiana Hospital Trauma Center, where she was pronounced deceased.

A 17-year-old McLouth teenager was killed Saturday in a two-vehicle crash in Jefferson County. The collision happened about 4:30 p.m. on K-16 highway just east of Oskaloosa. The teenager, identified as Hunter Levi Terrell, 17, was driving west when he lost control of his vehicle as he passed another car. Terrell was re-entering his lane after passing the pickup when he lost control of his Honda Civic, skidded broadside and was struck by an eastbound Chevrolet Suburban. Terrell was killed in the collision.
