At about 3:10 p.m., a man thought to be in his 60's was attempting to board a light-rail train at the station near the 16th Street Mall, and was pushing a button to open the door when his coat somehow got caught on the train as it began to leave. He fell underneath the train and was dragged by it until he crashed into a concrete barrier, his head hitting a drain pipe. The man was seriously hurt, but remained conscious as he was transported to the hospital.
