A 28-year-old Grayling man is dead after his car went off the road Saturday morning. Around 2:30 a.m., Muskegon Township officers were called out to South Mill Iron Road just south of Apple Ave. They found a single vehicle that went off the road and crashed. The passenger of the vehicle was out of the vehicle and spoke to emergency responders. The driver of the vehicle, a 28-year-old Grayling man, was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The chief deputy coroner of Adams and Broomfield Counties identified him as Gary Melillo. He worked for Denver Public Schools as a facility manager at Martin Luther King, Jr. Early College.

Raymond Thompson, 68, and Peggy Aldrich, 70, both of Whitinsville, Mass., were headed north on Atlantic Highway when their 2014 Mitsubishi was struck head-on by a 2007 Dodge Caliber driven by 63-year-old Edward Bean of Waldoboro, Waldoboro Police Chief Bill Labombarde said Friday. Bean’s car had crossed into the northbound lane.

Virgilio Aquino Jr., 44, of San Francisco, was arrested after allegedly driving his car into a bus stop at Mission Street and Silver Avenue around 9:35 p.m. Friday, according to a San Francisco police spokesman.
Aquino hit a 42-year-old woman, who was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police have identified a woman killed when her car collided with a train in Henry County as 52-year-old Connie Gauthier.
Georgia State Patrol officials said Gauthier died Friday afternoon, after they said she drove her Mercury Cougar into the path of an oncoming Norfolk Southern train.

Around 9 p.m., officers found Toney Campbell, 46, lying in the street after being dragged and run over by a car. Campbell was transported to the Regional Medical Center in critical condition, where he later died.
