A tractor trailer hit a bridge and caught fire Sunday morning on the 15 Freeway north near Baker, causing a fuel spill that shut down the freeway for several hours, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash happened about 5 a.m. on the 15 at the North Zzyzx Road offramp. The CHP log did not mention any injuries. One lane reopened shortly after 9 a.m., the CHP stated. Clean up was expected to take until about 7 p.m., the log said.
