Hartford & New Haven, CTA school bus carrying 26 children and 2 adults from Bolton Elementary School was traveling on Interstate 384 on the way to East Hartford. When the school bus was passing through a construction zone, it allegedly rear-ended a passenger car. About two dozen children aboard the bus were taken to a local hospital for precautionary medical evaluations.

Hartford & New Haven, CTA car driven by a 37-year-old woman from New Britain crashed into a construction site Tuesday morning on Trout Brook Drive, north of Farmington Avenue, police said.
The driver, Ewa Pedzich, and two construction workers sustained minor injuries in the 10:54 a.m. crash, police said.
The construction crew was in the southbound lanes on Trout Brook Drive. They work for a company contracted by the Metropolitan District Commission.

Hartford & New Haven, CTInterstate 95 South is closed near exit 93 in North Stonington because of a crash involving a Department of Transportation vehicle.
Crews were patching potholes on the highway when a minivan entered the work zone at a high rate of speed and crashed into one of the DOT trucks, according to a department spokesperson.
At least 3 people were seriously injured, according to state police.
