Todd E. Golden, 49, died in the pedestrian crash that occurred about 2:05 a.m. on University Boulevard South near Bennett Road. Golden was walking in the left northbound lane but was not in a crosswalk. A vehicle hit Golden and stopped, but a second car also collided with him. That second driver initially stopped in the parking lot of a nearby business, and then quickly left the crash site. Authorities described the second vehicle as small and silver, but no other information on the vehicle is available.

Three people died Tuesday in a head-on collision in Dade City, Florida before noon on U.S. 301. Beaudoin Oredore, 86, of East Windsor, Connecticut, was driving a 2014 Buick Enclave south on U.S. 301, while Walter Kenneth Roe, 74, of Brooksville, was driving northbound. Oredore lost control of his vehicle and drove across the grass median and into the northbound lanes, crashing into Roe's Ford Explorer. Oredore and his passenger, Nannie Sue Couch, 74, of Flint, Michigan, were pronounced deceased at the crash site.

A Tampa motorcyclist was killed Monday at approximately 5 p.m. in Brandon after he ran into a vehilce that pulled out in front of him. Kenneth Epps, 48, of Tampa, was driving a 2002 Suzuki GSXR on Bloomingdale Avenue. A Ford Escape was turning left from Christy Lane. Epps braked to avoid a collision, but the motorcycle crashed into the front of the crossover vehicle. Epps was thrown from the motorcycle and was pronounced deceased at the crash site. The driver of the Escape, Jorge Arturo Granados, 31, of Palmetto, and his two passengers, was not injured.

Nicole Donnelly was trying to flag down vehicles on Pasadena Avenue when a vehicle struck her and left the scene, leaving her seriously injured. Authorities later recovered the vehicle, described as a 2006 BMW. The accident is still under investigation.

Two men were killed and two women injured in an airboat crash Sunday on Lake Jesup, after the driver apparently misjudged the clearance between the water and the underside of the State Road 417 bridge. The vessel crashed into the bridge about 7 p.m., resulting in the deaths of operator Mark Anthony Cruz, 51, of Mims, and passenger Joel Thomas Arnold, 47, of Orlando. Two other passengers, Vicki Lee Cruz of Sorrento and Rhonda Lyn Silvia of Orlando, were injured in the crash. Cruz' wife, Leslie Ann, who also was a passenger, was not injured. The airboat occupants weren't wearing life jackets.

At about 2:30 p.m. Friday east of Steed Terrace on County Road 48, Bradley D. Schroth lost control of his pickup truck and veered into the path of an oncoming Lexus sedan driven by Eric D. Williams. Williams swerved to avoid the collision but was still struck offset head-on on the left side of the Lexas, according to authorities. Neither man was wearing a seat belt, and both men died at the scene.

Florida Highway Patrol says that a car was stopped at the stop sign at Northwest 100th Street, then moved beyond the stop sign and entered onto County Road 25A, when a second car that was headed south on CR 25A struck the front of the car coming from Northwest 100th Street and spun it around 360 degrees. The impact ejected the driver onto the roadway. At this point the car then ran over the victim as it spun around, killing her, according to officials. The victim, identified as Karalea D. Walker, 50, was not wearing a seat belt.

Two men were killed following a head-on crash on a north Florida road in Citrus County. Bradley D. Schroth, 31, was traveling in his pick-up truck near Floral City in Citrus County Friday afternoon when he lost control of the vehicle and swerved into the oncoming lane. Eric D. Williams, 35, tried to avoid a collision by veering his car out of the way, but the two vehicles collided. Neither person was wearing a seat belt, and both were pronounced deceased at the crash site.

A 26-year-old Deltona man was killed Friday after a head-on motorcycle collision with an SUV. Conrad Lapura was traveling eastbound on Saxon Boulevard near Finland Drive in Deltona around 2 p.m. when for unknown reasons he crossed the center line, and collided with a westbound SUV.  Lapura died while being transported to the hospital. He was wearing a helmet. The driver of the SUV was taken to ah hospital in Orange City to be treated for minor injuries.

Alcohol is suspected in a wrong way crash that resulted in the deaths of two people in Seminole on Christmas morning. Paul Pulkownik, 51, was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer the wrong direction on Park Boulevard. He collided with a 2009 Hyundai Sonata driven by Isabel Martins, 58, of Largo. Martins and her passenger, Joao Martins, 84, also of Largo, died in the collision. Pulkownik was taken to Bayfront Medical Center. His condition is not known at this time.
