Gainesville, FLPolice say that the as-yet unamed driver's left front hit the left front of an Oldsmobile Alero being driven by William Sanders, 32 of Hawthorne, who was pronounced dead on the scene. His passenger, Tami Thompson, 24, was taken to UF Health Gainesville in serious condition.

Jacksonville, FLThe Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in Putnam County involving a dirt bike.
57-year-old Michael Wilber was killed in a crash on Tuesday around 9 p.m. on State Road 20, just west of Kitty Lane according to FHP.
For unknown reasons, patrol officers said Wilber had his Suzuki dirt bike stopped in the westbound travel lane of State Road 20, west of Kitty Lane.
Timothy Buchner, 59, driving a Merc Villager SUV, was traveling west on State Road 20, when he collided with the dirt bike.
