One person was killed in two-vehicle accident in Cottonwood County Friday afternoon at around 1 p.m. on Highway 60 near Mountain Lake. Jacob Beckius, 23, of St. James, was driving an International strait truck southbound on 570th Avenue at Highway 60 and was making a turn on Highway 60 when he collided with Roger Richardson, 68, and Loretta Richardson, 66, of Windom, who were driving a Buick LeSabre eastbound on Highway 60. Roger Richardson died following the collision. Loretta Richardson sustained non-life threatening injuries. Beckius was uninjured.
