The fatal collision occurred at 12:03 p.m. on I-35E north at Minnesota Highway 36 near Little Canada. Robert Nelson, 23, was killed. A car driven by Owen Duncanson, 57, of White Bear Lake, was traveling north in the left lane of the interstate near County Road 36. Nelson was traveling fast, changed lanes, and hit the passenger side of the car. Nelson lost control of the motorcycle and was ejected.

Clarence H. Pistorius was riding a four-wheeler in eastern South Dakota at about 8 p.m. on a rural street when his tires lost traction on the shoulder of the road and rolled. The 700-pound machine pinned him underneath, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the vehicle was speeding at the time of the accident and that Pistorius was not wearing a helmet.

Dedominces was driving a snowmobile on Lake Pequaywan shortly after 9:30pm when he crashed into an island, ejecting both him and his passenger Wigstrom. Authorities have said the Dedominces was under the influence of alcohol and traveling at a high rate of speed when the crash occurred, which left him in critical condition and Wigstrom in stable condition, though both are expected to survive.

A 49-year-old man from Andover, MN was riding a snowmobile at around 2:30 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a turn and left the trail, hitting some trees. First aid was administered until first responders could arrive with a rescue vehicle to transport him to Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital. The man was reportedly in stable condition, but is going to be flown to a Level 1 Trauma Center in Minnesota for further treatment. Alcohol and speed are believed to have been involved in the accident. Incident is still under investigation.

A couple from Saint Peter, Allen Cole, 76, and Marilyn Cole, 75, died Thursday afternoon on October 16 following a car accident. The couple made a left turn off of northbound Highway 169 when they collided with an oncoming vehice driven by Helinda Lee, 24, of Mankato. Lee sustained injuries not considered to be life-threatening.

A 22-year-old Maple Grove man died Saturday in a snowmobile crash in north-central Minnesota, authorities said. According to a statement from the Todd County Sheriff’s Office released Sunday: Authorities received a report of a missing man at 11:23 a.m. Saturday. Friends of Jared Wallenfelsz said they had last seen him driving a snowmobile away from his family’s cabin on Long Lake about 1:30 a.m. that morning.
