34-year-old Matthew R. McMahon of Flemington died Wednesday when his car overturned on Mount Kemble Avenue (Route 202). McMahon was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, and he was treated at the scene by police and first responders before being brought to Morristown Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. A single-car crash reported around 3 a.m. Sunday injured three, all of whom were ejected from their vehicle during the accident. The crash happened along Route 49 near Waldens Drive, which is located near Fairfield Township School. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed through an NJ Transit bus stop before hitting a tree. Two of the victims were flown to Cooper University Hospital, in Camden, and are in critical condition. The third victim was transported by ambulance to Inspira Health Center, in Bridgeton.

New Jersey State Police say a two-vehicle crash on the southbound Garden State Parkway in Stafford Township on Saturday remains under investigation.

Shorty before 3 p.m., a driver of a pick-up truck traveling south on the parkway cut into the path of a car also traveling southbound. The truck struck the driver’s side door of the car, causing both vehicles to lose control and veer off the road.

Two adults in the car, both females, were pronounced dead at the scene. They were identified as 69-year-old Frances Hill and 45-year-old Naomi Johnson, both of Turnersville.

Bergen County Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident Wednesday morning on Route 4 eastbound.

A pedestrian was struck and killed near the Grand Avenue entrance to Route 4 eastbound, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said on Twitter.

The pedestrian was dragged further up the highway, where the body was found at 4:15 a.m., Molinelli said.

Route 4 eastbound was still closed at Grand Avenue at 7:45 a.m. for the investigation. Police are detouring traffic to Grand Avenue southbound.

A Brooklyn man is dead after he landed in a New Jersey backyard in a skydiving accident. The incident happened Sunday afternoon in Washington Township, in Gloucester County. The 49-year-old victim, Arkady Shenker, was wearing a wing suit allows a skydiver to move forward while descending and is said to have been an experienced diver with more than 350 jumps. He had just jumped with 15 others from a plane operated by a Monroe company called Freefall Adventures. The cause of the fatal accident has not yet been determined, and it is unclear if the specialized suit opened properly.

One person was killed and another critically injured in an early morning crash in Burlington County. It happened around 2:10 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Charleston Road and Birchwood Lane. Police say a 2004 Cadillac Wagon was overturned on the roadway after striking a snow embankment. Both victims, 33-year-old Danielle Martin and 38-year-old Michele McGee, were ejected on the vehicle. Martin was pronounced dead at the scene. McGee was flown to Capital Health Medical Center in Mercer County in serious condition.
