At least one person died in a plane crash Sunday morning in Los Alamos, authorities said. The single-engine Aviat Husky crashed around 8 a.m. near the Los Alamos Airport by Canyon Rim Trail. A Los Alamos Deputy Fire Chief said there were no survivors in the crash. It is unknown how many people were aboard the plane. Both the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating. Officials from both agencies could not confirm whether the plane was local or from out of town or if it was landing or departing from the airport.
