Albuquerque-Santa Fe, NMArriola and Kauska were driving in a vehicle with it's head lights off, but when a police tried to pull them over they took off, dangerously driving around traffic. Eventually, their car cross into oncoming traffic and struck another vehicle head-on, the impact of which killed both Arriola and Kauska. Mills, another victim, was critically injured and flown to UNM hospital, though it is unclear which vehicle he was in.

Albuquerque-Santa Fe, NMAuthorities say a family from Argyle were killed when their vehicle collided head-on with another while they were traveling in New Mexico. New Mexico State Police say the crash occurred Friday around 9 p.m. on US 550, about 20 miles south of Bloomfield. According to investigators, 24-year-old Brian Lee became fatigued while driving northbound and crossed the center line. They say his Ford truck crashed into a van heading southbound.
