Columbus, OHA 61-year-old man drove his car through the crossing gate while the train was going by, broadsiding the train, and was thrown to the other side of the road. He suffered minor injuries and the operator of the train suffered cardiac symptoms. The crash caused an oil leak in one of the train cars. Check back for more information as it becomes available.

Toledo, OHOne person is dead after two commercial vehicles collided on Monday morning on Miami Street at Navarre Avenue in East Toledo. According to police, a semi was stopped for traffic when a smaller truck slammed into the back of it, trapping the driver inside. Michael Rakes, Sr., 45, of Macomb County, Michigan was pronounced dead at the scene. One of the trucks began to leak diesel fuel, and the scene was closed to traffic for several hours while crews cleaned up. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.

Cleveland-Akron, OHThe driver and a passenger in the dump truck, a 37-year-old man and 24-year-old man respectively, were both seriously injured and taken to Hillcrest Hospital. The driver of the armored car, a 25-year-old woman, was also taken to Hillcrest with serious injuries, but her passenger, a 35-year-old man, sustained only minor injuries and was taken to Geauga Hospital.
