3 people died in a crash involving a school bus in Live Oak County Thursday morning. According to officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety, a van crashed into a Three Rivers ISD school bus on Highway 72 just before 7 a.m. The three people killed were riding in the van, a DPS official said. Four other people inside the van were also injured. No children on board the bus were injured, although some kids were checked out at school or transported to a hospital by parents, according to DPS. A DPS official said driver fatigue may be to blame in the crash.
