The crash happened around 6:00 p.m. Wednesday on Sandstone Mountain when a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Wesley C. Lester of Benton collided with another vehicle. Both vehicles flipped over an embankment. The second vehicle's driver, 58-year-old Julia F. James was ejected from her vehicle. James, Lester, and a passenger in Lester's vehicle, 45-year-old Brenda L. Lester of Benton, were pronounced deceased at the crash site. A passenger in James' vehicle, 61-year-old Delores M. Facemire was transported to a hospital in Charleston. Her condition is not currently known.
