Atlanta, GAJust before 12:30 a.m. Sunday, 18-year-old Christina Marie Wenke turned left onto Pine Grove Road from Knoll Terrace, at which point her Honda Accord was struck on the driver's side door by a Nissan pick-up driven by 17-year-old Ernesto Resendez-Gomez. Wenke was pronounced dead at the scene. Resendez-Gomez was taken to North Fulton Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. We'll update this story as more details emerge.
