At about 3:30am, a semi-truck changing from northbound I-405 to northbound I-5 rolled onto its side, resulting in its cargo, millions of bees in boxes each containing about 5000, being spilled across the freeway. Thousands of bees escaped, and while beekeepers are using smoke to calm the bees and attempt to reload them, firefighters had to resort to using foam to kill many of them. The driver of the bee truck was not injured in the crash, and cleanup of the scene should be complete by about 10:00am.

A drunk bear in Colorado broke into a Subaru last week and wasn't content with simply trashing the car like a normal bear. No, this bear also crashed the car into a mailbox before using it as a bathroom.

Ron Cornelisu, neighbor of the unfortunate car owner, told the Durango Herald that he heard a commotion at 5 a.m. one day.

"Usually, I don’t get up at 5 o’clock unless there is a bear driving a car down the street."
