An accident that left two men dead is being investigated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Maverick Drilling, the company the men worked for. The two oil field workers were electrocuted Monday when they were struck by a fallen electrical line in far southwest Houston, authorities said. A crane apparently hit the line about 2:30 p.m. in a field along the 16800 block of Blue Ridge near FM 2234, near Fort Bend County. Paramedics gave the men CPR as an ambulance rushed them to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, officials said, where they died.
