Honolulu, HIAuthorities are reporting that a 36-year-old driver has been arrested for allegedly driving while under the influence after a two-vehicle collision Sunday Morning. The driver arrested was driving on the wrong side of the road and collided into another vehicle head-on. The passenger of the vehicle that was hit has been taken to the hospital. The driver that caused the accident attempted to flee, but witnesses drove after him until he stopped. We will update this story as more information becomes available.

Honolulu, HIThe accident took place around 3:00 a.m. in Pearl City. A patrol officer observed the 20-year-old woman commit a traffic violation. The officer initiated a traffic stop, but the suspect refused to stop and a pursuit was initiated. During the pursuit the suspect collided into two occupied HPD vehicles. She then fled on foot. She was found nearby and arrested on suspicion of two counts of first-degree criminal property damage, driving without a license, fleeing the scene of a motor vehicle collision, and driving without proof of insurance.
