The crash occurred around 10 p.m. Wednesday on Liberty Highway when a motorcycle heading south on Liberty Highway tried to pass a car when it collided with another vehicle head-on. The motorcycle driver, John Chastain, 24, of Six Mile, was killed in the collision. Investigators said he was wearing a helmet. No one in the second vehicle sustained injuries.
