Detectives have released a photo of a person of interest in the hit-and-run crash in Watts that left a 19-year-old man dead. Authorities said a black 2013 Chevrolet Camaro was traveling at approximately 80-100 mph on a residential street when the vehicle hit a dip in the road, went airborne and struck Jerry Arredondo at 105th Street and Wadsworth Avenue at about 7:20 p.m. Tuesday. The teen was thrown straight into a nearby tree, which split in two. Arredondo was pronounced dead at the scene.
