Los Angeles, CADozens of people were allegedly spectating in an area of Los Angeles known for street racing, near Canoga Avenue and Plummer Street in the community of Chatsworth. A Ford Mustang driven by Henry Michael Gevorgyan, 21, that police say has been modified for racing purposes was racing through the area when Gevorgyan failed to properly negotaite a turn and struck some spectators that were on the side of the road.

Cleveland-Akron, OHSoap opera actor Freddie Smith, 26, of "Days of Our Lives", was involved in a car crash in Ashtabula, Ohio Tuesday. The incident occured after Smith was unable to negotiate a curve on the highway, hit a culvert, and flipped the car. His passenger, girlfriend Alyssa Tabit was seriously injured and flown to a hospital in Youngstown. Smith suffered minor injuries. Alcohol and high speed are suspected causes of the crash.
