San Bernardino, CAAn investigation is underway into a deadly hit-and-run crash early Wednesday morning in Fontana.
The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. at San Bernardino Avenue and Commerce Drive.
Witnesses say a man was crossing the street, not in a crosswalk, when a semi-truck hit him and took off. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have not released the victim's identity - only that he's in his 50s.
So far, there are no details on the semi-truck driver.

San Bernardino, CAA tow truck driver was critically injured after a hit-and-run driver slammed into him on the side of the road in Bloomington.
The incident occurred shortly before 2 a.m. Tuesday when a tow truck driver with Aslan Towing out of Riverside was called to pick up a yellow Chevy Camaro on a bridge over rail road tracks near the 10200 block of Cedar Avenue.
The road is very narrow and has no shoulder.
As the tow truck driver was putting the Camaro onto the flat bed of his truck, California Highway Patrol officials say someone driving a silver Nissan Altima slammed into him at high speed.

Riverside, CAAuthorities found a bicyclist lying in the roadway at the intersection of Calimesa Boulevard and Singleton Road. According to witnesses, the bicyclist was traveling southbound and a vehicle crossed the divider and struck the bicyclist head on. The victim's name has been identified as Banning area resident Phil Richards.

Riverside, CAAn Army veteran was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in the community of Canyon Lake Friday.
Police responded to reports of a man down on the 31000 block of Railroad Canyon Road around 2:17 a.m. and located a man deceased in the roadway.
Family members have since identified the man as 32-year-old Scott Bolger.
Bolger's wife says the father of two had stepped out to a local tavern with his brother-in-law Friday night. Investigators say he was walking home, stepped off the sidewalk, and was hit.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
