Anchorage, AKLeroy Blix Jr. was traveling on Glenn Highway on a moped when ihs vehicle collided with an SUV. Blix sustained fatal injuries in the crash. The incident is still under investigation, and no charges have yet been filed.

Anchorage, AKA person was driving a moped on Glenn Highway when they were involved in an accident with a car that took their life. The accident took place just before 6:30 p.m. a quarter-mile past the overpass leading to Fort Richardson. Two lanes were closed while authorities investigated the accident. Few details are available at this time.

Anchorage, AKA 20-year-old woman is hospitalized in critical condition after a motorcycle crashed into her motorized scooter in a Midtown intersection Monday night, police said.
The incident occurred just before 7:30 p.m. when the woman, identified as Cynthia Wheeler, was riding the scooter westbound on a sidewalk on the north side of 32nd Avenue and into a crosswalk on C Street, Anchorage police spokeswoman Jennifer Castro said.
When Wheeler was in the intersection, she was struck by a motorcycle driven by 26-year-old Michael Frazier, Castro said.
