Charleston, SCA 2013 moped driven by Alicia Grace Gray, 62, and a 2008 four-door Lexus driven by a 61-year old Isle of Palms woman were both turning onto the connector from Rifle Range Road at 9:55 a.m. Tuesday when the moped swerved out of its lane and hit the driver's side door of the car. The moped driver died from her injuries. The Lexus driver was ruled not at fault.

Kansas City, MOA man riding a mini-bike the wrong way on a one-way street Sunday afternoon slammed into a car at an intersection, knocking out several of his teeth and causing critical head injuries, police said.
The man, who turned 21 Monday, was not wearing a helmet during the 1:58 p.m. crash at East 25th Street and Chestnut Avenue, according to police.
