Willie Ray Slawson was driving on U.S. 29 when his vehicle collided with another driven by 67-year-old Sandra Kaye Moody. Slawson then collided with a Dodge Ram driven by Michael Luciano, 47. Slawson was pronounced dead at the scene. Moody and a passenger in her car were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Luciano was not hurt. Slawson was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Watson lost control of her vehicle while trying to pass another car while traveling at a high rate of speed on Route 115. She died in the crash along with four child passengers. The two adults in the car were wearing seatbelts but the children were not wearing seat belts or in booster seats.The identities of the children and their relationship to the driver have not yet been released.
