A Hawaiian Electric crew is doing repairs affecting service to customers along Diamond Head Road. At 3:15 p.m., Honolulu police received a call of a vehicle hitting a telephone pole which caused it to lean. The pole needs to be replaced, and in the meantime, 245 customers are without power. The repair crew is trying to reroute power and get electric service back to those customers. Because of the accident and repair work, HPD have closed Diamond Head Road in both directions between Leahi Beach Park and Coconut Avenue.
