Sunday, December 28, 2014At about 7:40am, Gray was allegedly driving a pickup truck to the west on Highway 140 when he for some reason departed the roadway and struck a lamp post and highway sign before the pickup rolled several times and ejected Zimmer and Young-Wellbaum. None of the three occupants were wearing seat belts, but while Zimmer and Young-Wellbaum were both dead at the scene, Gray survived with injuries and was taken to a medical facility by an unknown passerby. Police ask anyone with any information about said passerby to call them at 541-883-5711.

Seattle-Tacoma, WASometime in the afternoon, an elderly woman was driving on North Pearl Street when she lost control of the vehicle, crashed through a fence, and rolled the vehicle upside-down into a rentention pond, which was about 2 feet deep. Fortunately, police and firefighters were able to rescue the woman, who apparently only sustained minor injuries.

Pittsburgh, PAAt about 12:47pm, Williams was driving on Route 711 when she failed to negotiate a curve, departed the roadway on the right side, and hit an embankment before rolling over into a utility pole. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene, but she had two passengers, a 12-year-old and a 16-year-old, who were both injured in the crash, and one of them was found unconscious and partially ejected from the vehicle. As of now, the 16-year-old is in stable condition, while 12-year-old is in more serious condition.

Friday, December 26, 2014Florida Highway Patrol says that a car was stopped at the stop sign at Northwest 100th Street, then moved beyond the stop sign and entered onto County Road 25A, when a second car that was headed south on CR 25A struck the front of the car coming from Northwest 100th Street and spun it around 360 degrees. The impact ejected the driver onto the roadway. At this point the car then ran over the victim as it spun around, killing her, according to officials. The victim, identified as Karalea D. Walker, 50, was not wearing a seat belt.

Twin Falls, IDA car containing three people was traveling northbound on 3800 East when they came to a stop sign at the intersection with U.S. 30. The driver of the car then drove into the intersection, but was directly in the path of a westbound snowplow driven by Rodney Pooler, 58, and the two vehicles collided and slid off the northwestern corner of the intersection.

Des Moines-Ames, IAA man is accused of setting two houses on fire on 4th Street and F Street, which fortunately had no one in them at the time. After commiting arson, the suspect backed his car up to the front doors of a Good and Quick convenience store then slammed on the gas, causing the car to blast backwards into the store and nearly strike two people. The man then sped away at speeds of up to 80 mph.

Portland-Auburn, MEAt about 12:30am, Hanson's car departed the roadway, flipped over, and came to rest upside-down against a utility-pole. Though Hanson was wearing a seat belt, he died as a result of the crash. The accident is still under investigation, but hazardous road conditions such a black ice are believed to be contributing factors.

Hartford & New Haven, CTA vehicle containing two men and a 2-year-old girl was seen driving the wrong way in the northbound lane of Main Street before it failed to turn at the intersection and hit a building. All occupants of the vehicle were injured, though no injuries were life-threatening. Upon further investigation, drugs and a stolen firearm were found in the vehicle. Check back for updates.

Columbia, SCEddie Moe was standing and waving outside the Select Tire on Magnolia Street when a vehicle ran off the road and hit him, along with a sign and two parked cars. He died at the scene from blunt force trauma. The driver of the vehicle has been identified as 76-year-old Carnell Benton.

Tuesday, December 16, 2014A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash that occurred in the 2100 block of Yerba Buena Road at Chisin Street when a stolen vehicle crashed into a power pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the road will be closed until 1 p.m.
