Friday, October 10, 2014The accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Platte Avenue and Circle Drive. A red sedan was making a u-turn and was struck by a silver sedan. The four people in the silver vehicle were hospitalized for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. As a precaution the two people in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital. Private and city property were damaged by the vehicles. Excessive speed, alcohol, and illegal narcotics may have all contributed to the accident.

Denver, COA man believed to have driven a car into the side of a Peerless Tire store has turned himself in to Broomfield Police.
Early Saturday morning, a witness saw a white Toyota Camry had been driven into the side of the building at 11985 Teller St., causing several thousand dollars in damage that included a gaping hole on the west side of the building.
A man was seen getting out of the car and walking away. Officers searched the area, but the driver was not found.
