Daniel Case, 34, was arrested after driving through the front door of his brother's house and striking his niece, Alexis Case. Alexis was taken to a hospital where she died. Daniel Case pleaded guilty to driving under the influence on three seperate occasions in 2003, 2005 and 2007.

At around 1:30 p.m., a BMW 530 crashed into the side of a jewelry store on Eighth Street, cracking windows and spilling layers of brick. Fortunately no one was in the  shop at the time, and the driver walked away unharmed. The merchandise in the store was also intact. Investigators believe the accident was caused by a medical issue.

A man was killed in a single-car wreck inside a parking garage in the 900 block of Logan Street near downtown Denver on Friday. The man was discovered at about 8 a.m. inside the garage. Police believe a medical condition was a factor in the accident. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.

The accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Platte Avenue and Circle Drive. A red sedan was making a u-turn and was struck by a silver sedan.  The four people in the silver vehicle were hospitalized for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.  As a precaution the two people in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital. Private and city property were damaged by the vehicles. Excessive speed, alcohol, and illegal narcotics may have all contributed to the accident.

A man believed to have driven a car into the side of a Peerless Tire store has turned himself in to Broomfield Police. Early Saturday morning, a witness saw a white Toyota Camry had been driven into the side of the building at 11985 Teller St., causing several thousand dollars in damage that included a gaping hole on the west side of the building. A man was seen getting out of the car and walking away. Officers searched the area, but the driver was not found.
